Born in Barcelona Núria Serraïma Petit received a Bachelor degree in Piano from the Municipal Superior Conservatory of Music, Barcelona, in 1979. After that, she initiated Geography and History studies in the University of Barcelona and received a Bachelor degree in General History and Geography in 1984. Later she started studying Singing, also in the Municipal Superior Conservatory of Music of Barcelona, and in 2001 she recieved a Singing teacher diploma.
Dedicated to teaching for more then 20 years in the subjects of History, Music, Music History and Cinema, at the present, she works as a teacher in ear training, singing and piano as well as a lecturer on music history.
She was a choral conductor of the choir “CEIP Pins de Vallès”, Sant Cugat and the choir “La Pinya” of the same city. Also she has been director of the choir “Sant Cugat” of this city.
